Looks great. You must be a more patient person then I. I tried to remove my XLT grill lest week and gave up pretty quick. It started to look complicated. Maybe it is not but I imagined screwing it up somehow. I still want to dip my outer chrome around the grill black. Yours came out real nice.

I'm not the biggest fan of dipped wheels, not the biggest fans of black wheels unless they're simple like my black FX 20's. I think the chrome looks good, keep the center black, the rest chrome. But dipping is easy, just try it out, tear it off if you don't like it.

Yep, i like having the option of tearing it off. Thanks for the input. Theres a fine line between enough and too much black out.

Looks harder than it really is, took me about 20 mins to remove and completely disassemble it. Took longer cleaning it up for the dip to stick.

The tabs are only held in by tension, use a flat head screwdriver to spread the tabs and the chrome pops right off the main grill body, only 6 bolts that hold the grille to the truck and another 6 that hold a metal support bar across the bottom. You need a hard plastic wedge to pop the top of the grille surround from the hood so you don't break any tabs, there's a video on you tube how to.
