I have an ARE Z series and love it. Is that an ARE or Leer? I've had mine off for 2 months sue to doing a lot of work on my house. Putting it back on later this month for hunting season, I miss it. Makes it an old man truck, but sure is useful.

Well the Gotts mod should work, I have never seen it done, no experience. Just seen a write up and told it works. I guess you can try it and hope for the best. A rear cat won't matter at all though, its just basically a "clean up" cat, to catch anything the first missed. If it doesn't have an O2 sensor after it (downstream) it's not monitored by the computer and won't throw a code. This varies by year/make/model but on most modern vehicles this is how it works. Your front O2 sensor/AF sensor monitors the exhaust to help adjust your air/fuel ratio. The second O2 sensor monitors the cat, making sure it is doing it's job. So if the problem is a cat after the second O2 sensor, it is not being monitored and won't cause a light even if you removed it completely

Thanks, it was a labor of love. I've owned lots of boats, big and small, but with the kids grown, my wife wanted a runabout. I wanted a classic boat. I found this hull, discovered what is was and bought it. They're fairly rare. I had never done much fiberglass or body work before. The fellow with the long hair and beard is my oldest son. The hull is the floor. The trailer now has 15" aluminum wheels all around and I installed hydraulic brakes on it summer of 2012. I also enlarged my pole barn so it has a place to sit over winter. Like my hot rod, the boat is a kick to drive. It has incredible acceleration, turns on a dime, and is a regatta winner with me driving and my youngest son navigating.

I noticed your son had cut his hair and beard around page 3 of the boat build...ha ha
Well got a little bored today after work and decided to take the truck up a few trails. Needless to say it was a beautiful day! Trail has gotten a little rough since I have been up it last and had the rear wheel lift and the truck sway back and forth in one spot which was a little scary, but hey I made it and it was fun. Got some great shots while I was up there as well!
