I wear a 12 in shoes and I'm 6'3 tall. The foot space isn't a problem at all for me. It's the knees room which is typical for super cab. Honestly I don't have any large adults to put back there beside the kids.

The only reason I got this sub is because I've always had 10in subs. I know their capable of performance wise. I could have gotten 1 JL shallow 10in sub with a custom box to fit flush with the seat but it was only less of an inch difference sticking out from the seat. Instead of a 10in that would be flush with the seat. I got a sub 1.5in bigger sacrificing for less of an inch of space.

Cool, it looks like it sticks out a lot more than that. Sometimes it can be so hard to tell in a picture. If it's a choice between a single 10 inch and dual 12's, and you don't have a lot of adults in the back seat, then it's a pretty easy choice to lose that inch.
