Just got home in Cincy. 14 hours from Providence, RI. Dang Traveling Carnival tractor trailer blew a tire in front of me on I84 in NY. Everyone avoided a crash but a few of us had tire chunks brush the paint of our vehicles. Mine got it on the passenger door. really thought I had missed the big tire chunks and didn't stop because of the heavy traffic so I didn't see the scratches til I stopped for gas in Pennsylvania.

ComQuest know the internet has everything under the sun. I just thought he was a little off his rocker for "making love" to the tail pipe lol. I had not heard about the marriage yet.

delm That is an amazing camper top and you just made me a non-hater.

As far as hat I did today. I went to get a 5% tint strip on my windshield and when I came out someone had swiped the drivers rear corner. It left my taillight scratched up and the corner of my bumper got gouged and scuffed. It sucks because I still have the dealer tags on it. Its only 2 weeks old and the reason I got this one was because my wife totaled my 2012.

f150ben3 Wow that is scary. I'm glad all is okay and no one was injured and no vehicles totaled. I ws traveling back to SC yesterday and saw so many wrecks. Bad wrecks with major damage to vehicles.
FNFX2 ha ha yeah I would post the link about the lady marrying her truck, but not sure if Forum moderators would kick me off or not. I read 2 ladies married their truck. And gheeze that sucks some one swiped your truck. I hope they left a note. People are hell to do crap like that. How did your wife total your 2012?

ComQuest She freaked out and over corrected on 85N which sent her flying into the reinforcement wire. The side curtain air bags deployed and she walked away without a bruise or a scratch. This was vehicle number2 that she over corrected and wrecked. The first was a Honda Passport that she went over the right hand shoulder just a little and she jerked the wheel to the left flipping and rolling the Honda. She did the same thing to the F150 only it didnt flip.

FNFX2 Oh wow that sure is scary. I'm glad to hear she walked away and is okay. Is she a Christian? because if not, I would be in some body's church praying because those sound like major accidents. Is she still driving? I know a lady who has total every car they have had (I believe she total loss 4 cars). Her husband said it caused them to get some kind of high price insurance. Then she total another one, that last one put her in a wheel chair. It is sad too. They are from another country and I believe she just could not drive on American roads.

Thank you, ComQuest - I really like it, so far. I'm really pleased with the fit and finish of this top. SnugTop really is second to none in this area. The quality of this top just stands out. It has a remote lock/unlock that works from my key fob. Auto glass windows, carpet interior, interior light, and aesthetically I think it's the best looking top out there. So in all of those regards, I'm happy with the purchase.

It's just unfortunate that there are no locally dealerships that carry SnugTop, east of Eureka, MO. And SnugTops quality commands a premium, so this top was more expensive than other camper shell options.

I'm also torn about having a top in the first place! My wife has a tendency to purchase large items that I then have to get home, and those types of purchases will now be more space-challenged than previously. Still - for the most part, I use this truck for fun & games. Camping with my kids, and that is where I'm really looking forward to utilizing this top. Being able to fill up the bed with camping gear and supplies that cannot blow out of the truck, while being protected from the elements and being able to stack stuff up higher than the sides of the bed...really happy with that functionality.

That is good and that is so nice. It sounds like a very nice and awesome purchase. How much large stuff your wife buy? ha ha ha. If not that often, then hitch up a small trailer or have it delivered. Sounds like you really are going to enjoy it. When you said "Carpet interior," do you have the bed rug?
