It was a long weekend up here in Canada so got a few things done on the truck. I spent 8 hours detailing the truck (outside only ) which included two wash & dries of the truck an entire claybar then machine polish and machine wax of the truck. Good luck finding a single swirl or scratch mark in the paint job. Here's the results:

I also removed my factory decals from my bed. I think they give the truck a more clean look.

Last but not least I added 3 5.0L emblems below the stock F150 emblems one on each side of the truck and one on the tailgate.

I'll be installing my 4 Bilstein shocks this week so they will complete the level on the truck. More pics to follow when that's done.

New tires were needed ...last minute decision just before heading to the beach was a set of Wild Country XTX's. A quick $670.00 (mounted and balanced) to start off a vacation Money well spent tho..

Only $670 for them? My Nittos cost me like $1000-$1200

Yes I know. But it helps that I've worked summer jobs with the owner of this particular shop since I was 12 years old. He quoted me over the phone close to $900...when he realized who I was he readjusted and asked if $670.00 sounded like a better price! "Of course"

Definitely helps to have connections like that! Wish I had some of those connections...

A-West and rednsilverf150 It's probably time to call in one of the big boys. Like the ones that pull tractor-trailers out of ditches.

Azuri Mmmmm looks good enough to eat. You are welcome to come and detail my truck. That looks good. It has rained here seems like everyday for 2 weeks or so. I have been going to relatives houses all week, they live down a dirt road so my truck is good and dirty. I'm going home for a long 4th of July weekend, so hopefully the weather is nice to get mine washed.

Isn't it nice to have a good connection like that, I just put 4 new Michelin LTX m/s2s with an alignment on my wife's explorer for $700 out the door.
