Default Aftermarket Tpms sensors

I am looking for a set of pressure sensors and do not plan on shelling out a ton of cash for some from the dealer and see a bunch for cheap on ebay and amazon. Any one have good luck with the cheap ones? I got cheap no name ones for a different car and the tire shop could not program them. Not sure if it was the shop or the sensors. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thx

  • over the past 9 years have purchased 5 sets from ebaY® sellers with absolutely no issues.

Just make sure you get the right ones. I recently ordered some from fordparts.com that were $16 each (and said would work on my truck) - but found out it was the wrong MHz.

Does that mean you think all 4 original sensors need to be replaced? Why? Or are you asking about ADDING TPMS to a truck NOT originally equipped?

I agree the 2 mounted to the stem are not interchangeable, but you suggest both are 315 MHz. The white printed on the one on the right says 433 MHz.

Pretty sure there will never be a guy in my driveway talking into his sleeve about stems that may not be TPMS.

FTR #2 - Here is what tripped me up on the Ford website.
I ordered TPMS46 which says it is for the 2015 -2019 F150. Turns out I needed the TPMS35 which said it was for the 2014 F150 (mine is a 2019).
Ford website is screwed up....nobody seems interested in fixing it. Oh well.
