Took a trip to Oak Island, NC with the family and some friends.

What is it with the Carolina's (I was in Charleston, SC earlier this year) and d-bags having straight piped Silverados with ****ty HID conversions being driven by flat bill wearin' kids?
The Carolina squat was ever present as well. Lost count of the Salt Life decals, you could retire selling those things down there.

It was like I was trapped in a really bad Florida Georgia line video.

The kids you see driving the horrible sounding straight pipes whether it be chevy, ford or dodge with the flat bills and name brand stickers are what I call the spoiled generation. These kids want trucks because that's what a "southern boy" drives so their parents buy them for them. I'm from SC and my brother's friend had a 90 something dodge he wanted to lift but it was hard to find a lift for his truck for sale for some reason. So his parents bought him a 2013 dodge to fix that problem. The kids nowadays here (I'm 21 so anyone under that) are stuck up and go for that look for the "southern girls" to impress them.

The girls aren't any better, they say they're true country girls at heart but 95% have never fired a gun, driven a truck, have any idea what a duelly is or get grossed out with dirt or grease on their hands. Thankfully my girl knows and has done all those things, we go shooting, tend a huge garden, learned how to drive in a duelly and helps me work on my truck so I found a keeper haha but those girls have to get their monogram on everything, name brand stickers and think drinking and spending daddy's money is what a southern girl is. It's all disappointing really. Sorry for the long rant I just agree with you and I live here so its a daily hassle for me. End rant.

Most of the time they are hot but that's about all they got going for them. Its either hot and dumb, hot and stuck up/snobby, or smart and snobby. There's very few that are hot, smart and a pleasure to be around

I am proud to say I'm one of the few lucky ones to have taken one, had to work for it though. She turned a couple of guys down before me, not because she thought she was better just didn't want to date a flat bill wearing, straight pipe fart sounded truck guy haha

I work on Oak Island and you are correct with your observations. The squatting is the most annoying to me.

But yes, starting about 1.5 hours west of the beach these morons are common.
