Well actually the lariat trim is the most versatile. With the bare minimum of options it doesnt have much more than an xlt but fully optioned has more than the fx package offers.

I had the undercover flex that I had installed I my 2012 transferred to my 2014 when I bought it two weeks ago, dealer said no problem .

I need a cover that will let me install a rack to carry two kayaks. Bakflip seems to have the best options. Depends on what you need.
