Can you take a pic of the offending part pointing it out? Might be able to modify something from another year or maybe even a different make.

Hmm, ok that's what I thought you might be on about, mine looks identical. I remember other Fords, Lincoln Town Car's to be exact that had that portion of the track covered.

Try local salvage yards to see if you can find something that would snap into place.

A piece of rubber tubing, slice lengthwise will snap over the end. This just needs to cover the end of the track.

That's a regional injury. Up here where it's warm 2 or 3 days a year that wouldn't have happened. Because you would have been wearing pants socks and boots. Name: zap.gif

Still trying to wrap my head around the op's complaint, I wear flip flops sometimes and have yet to be able to contort my foot in such a way I would get scratched or cut on that part.

Rnlcomp - Still trying to wrap my head around the op's complaint ...
+1

In the 5 years of 2009+ F-150s have NEVER been attacked by any of the front seat mounts (LH and/or RH).

Best bet would be to make a mold, and cast a rubber cover.
