As long as it's just a thin 1" or so strip, I say red, but not the whole side of it.

while I agree both look great, imo the large amounts of ptm on your truck make the red flow better. just something about it. the black look good, but not as good as they might if the rest of the truck had more black. so ultimately I vote red.


part of it is perhaps that PTM is a rare choice for running boards. I like uniqueness

Well it would be the 2013 boards that are now that are black that would be painted red, so it would look a little different than the 07-08 red boards. I am leaning toward red, I think it looks better.

Red...it stands out...looks really sharp and custom.

I should mention that the reason the red ones were taken off is due to rust. The black ones are aluminum, so a good scuffing and they should be ready for the paint process. No more rust to worry about......
