Ouch dude so far my 2014 is stable, I hope you get this fixed soon. DO NOT wait for 3k miles, if they will not do anything, dump the vehicle and call FORD if you have not already...

Ok back to it today. Tire/wheel swap then driveline if needed. I really hope it's that easy. WAY too much money to have issues!!!

I brought my truck in today to have them find another with 20" tires/rims. The only one they found had worse vibration than mine according to my service writer. They tested wiggled my drive line and felt the same feel as we get when driving through the steering wheel. Not sure what that proved. Anyway no real progress. I suggested finding even 18" wheels on any of the trucks and if no vibration put them on mine and see if the ride is better. If it is I suppose that proves it's the tires. So they will do that and try it on the FX4 that has worse vibration than mine. If it works I'll bring mine down and try on mine. That's all I have for now.

Amccone I think you said you had the 5 foot bed with your 20 inch rims and Scorpion tires. This is just a shot in the dark but does the dealer have 6.5 foot bed truck in stock with the same tires and wheels you could drive to see if the additional bed length makes a difference in the vibration. If it does then the dealer could start looking at that aspect of the overall vehicle dynamics to decide what to start working on.

I have a 2014 FX4 with the 6.5 foot bed and the FX package 20 inch rims and Scorpion tires with luckily a smooth ride.

Keep in touch with Crystal at Ford, I have seen here get good results on the late model Mustangs Forums with owners problems.

Flassh...I will look and see. I'm glad you have a smooth ride! At this point I'm willing to try anything. I do plan on test driving a couple of the trucks. I saw a couple of FX4's on the lot yesterday. At least two had the FX package and the service writer told me he has the one with a vibration worse than mine hidden so he can test some things out on it, mostly tire swapping. I have been PM'ing Crystal too. I've seen good results from other posters on this forum based on her actions. Nice to know we have her in our corner!! Thanks for looking in here. I'll keep posting even if nobody reads this anymore. Also I'm not bashing or negative not that I'm being accused of it. Just want folks to know that. I really love my truck, it's a great fit.

My truck had a bit of a vibration when I first bought it (SuperCrew Short bed), but it seemed to be gone basically by the time I got it home, ~80 miles at 75mph or so. I originally figured it was just from sitting on the dealer lot without moving for a long time. FWIW, mine has the Bridgestones on it. I hope you guys are able to get it taken care of.

Hey Viking42...do you have 20" or 18' wheels?

No real update here. I have the general manager involved now. Maybe he can get this rolling faster. Same plan.

Today I tested with 17" Michelins from another truck on the lot. It was better but not what I was hoping for. I then drove another FX4 with 20" pirellis and it felt pretty good. So left it and they will flip the wheels onto mine tomorrow. They are sure it's the tires. I also drove mine after the other FX4 and it was the same to me as before so IDK. This has been a nightmare. I'm hoping very much to be done tomorrow. The GM gave me a loaner Lincoln Navigator. That's a beast!! Wouldn't have that even though it's fully loaded. Stereo is THX. Sounds pretty good. I like my 8" screen better. :-).
