Under Tonneau Storage?

Under Tonneau Storage?
Curious what you guys are running for storage under your tonnea covers.
Initial thought was this cause I love the idea of utilizing unused space. But I am limited on space and the craftsman kit wont fit.
Decided on this. Will be placed at the tailgate secured by cargo straps. Will hold the essentials, straps, jumper cables, 230 piece craftsman tool kit. Whatever else comes to mind. Can easily be placed in the cab if need be.

Three of these. One for the "must have" things, partially filled. One for the winter supplies and such. And one empty to put things in that I don't want to have slide around. They were like $8 or so at Costco. Many places sell them, Costco was the cheapest.
Ideally, they'd be smaller so I could fit three across.

Like it, inexpensive being the key and easy to remove.
My cargo straps are too long where they are sewn to secure 9" on either handle to the bed. I am thinking some turnbuckles at this point.

Rubber mat in my bed (DualLiner) so nothing slides but if I had a big steel box like that I'd want to secure it.
Years ago put cinder blocks in a box in the trunk of my car for winter weight. Hard right hand turn at a corner (volunteer firefighter at the time responding to a call) caused a dent from the inside.
Securing is good.

I also have a plastic container in the bed with misc. tools and towing supplies. My masonry toolbox fits right next to it, and they are both held in place with one of those adjustable cargo bars. It fits perfectly in the slot for 2x4s in my bedliner.
This is the cargo bar I'm talking about.

I have a couple of the Swingcases and a couple of cargo bars. One bar has a ratcheting adjuster, the other just twists to tighten. One of them was free with my tonneau cover. I need to get one of those bins to throw misc larger junk in.
