The readout on my dash says 14.4 mpg, but when I calculate by gallons and miles it's about 13.7.
I have a 2013 STX S cab, 5.0L v8, 3.73, stock tires, ARE topper, 3,700 miles. Fuel mileage is consistently less than 14. The trip where I measure the mileage is about 130 highway miles, goes over a 3,000 ft mtn pass (0 to 3000 down to 2000 up to 4,000 to 1200 ft). I drive like a grandpa (gentle accelerations, coast braking) except on the FWY I set cruise at 73mph.
Not sure what you guys are up to with your high 'teens. But reported MPG numbers seem high to me, significantly high.

My dash read out says 18.3 mpg but I figured it out at about 18.7. That is mixed driving, some in town some interstate, nothing over 70 mph. It beats the Ranger I used to drive, it only managed 17.6 over the same roads!!!

I guess I should post that my F-150 is a supercab with the 3.7 V6 and 373 gears and 6 speed auto.. I really like this truck better than any other truck I have ever owned, with the exception of my F-250 7.3 Powerstroke Supercab.

I usually get about 18.5 with regular gas and 20.0 using high test, taking in to account that is Highway and City driving. But, ever since about November, my mileage has dropped considerable. Now, I am getting around 17.5 with regular... and the price has dropped all the way down to $1.95 a gal.. Stopped using high test though... My truck is a 2013 EccoBoost Crewcab 4x4 with dual exhaust and Borla muffler

Is there a thread for 5.0 V8 mileage? I have a 2013, and can't even get out of the "high 13s" in miles per gallon
I am using the odometer values for miles on OEM wheels, store gas pump gallons, and a calculator, and driving like a grandpa.
