somethins up with a switch or somethin.. when i turn on the left turn signal my windshield wipers turn on. but then when i turn my winshield wipers on, they only work on the slowest and highest settings. do i need a new switch or is it otherwise fixable??

A new one is $50 bucks from the zone. I would just replace it if its worn enough to rotate when using the blinker. You are missing out on some good speed settings otherwise! Wish I could help you on the possibility of repairing it, but most switches I've ever seen seem easier to replace as opposed to trying to tinker with it. Even so, I'd bet you have to take it out even if something like contact cleaner would work. Why install it twice (if repair didn't fully work)

Heres the image from Autozone.com, maybe you could have it hanging out and see if cleaning those contacts help? (kind of doubt it -- switch itself is probably going bad)

thanks man. i thinkin i will just get a new one if its only 50 dollars... truck has 206000 miles on it and none of thats ever been changed... time for some new lol

you might be able to repair it, but it looks like the switch is junk...
