Is it really... since it evaporates in seconds, I haven't ever been quick enough to see the other positive results. I guess I will have to stick with igniting atomized gasoline.

I guess I fail to see a benefit since, like you said, it evaporates so quickly... you wouldn't be able to do any kind of soak with it

The Brake Cleaner eats away the carbon that builds up the SP, which is what keeps the SP from evacuating the head in one piece.

For anyone that's about to change these plugs or is having problems getting them out.... loosen the plugs in the slightest increments, spraying break cleaner into the head.

and no... BRAKE cleaner will not hurt anything. Almost every tech in the world uses brake cleaner to clean engine parts. Parts washer gets the bulk, then spray with brake cleaner.

Yeah but does every tech in the world spray it down their cylinder heads? How long have you known about this secret?

I've done it on the last two jobs I needed to remove the plugs. I promise you, brake cleaner will not hurt them in any way. The only thing it will do is clean some of the carbon out. It's better than the trash fuel all the gas stations sell. If you are really concerned about it, you could always turn the motor over for 10 - 15 seconds after you get all of the plugs out.
