Question Trany slips lucas or not ?

89 f150 5.0 AOD trany 130k started slipping changed filter and oil found dip stick plug in pan so it had never been changed. Oil looked bad. Ran great for about 6months doing it again. I plan on changing it again and the torqe converter does anyone recomend the lucas trany trestment also

At this point it wouldnt hurt it, but it wont fix it-only temporarily hide it.

Question Lucas

I was more worried about it making it worse if it does something to the seals and they would start leaking later

Default lucas is what you need

Hey I had problems out of my cars transmissions with slips and slow gear positioning. I then started using that lucas and things started smoothing out. Needless to say that it now has 300,000 close to 400,000 miles on it. It still has not been replaced.
