I plugged in the trailer lite connector for the trailer and now I have a message on the speedo that's says to ck the brake system and the trailer lights don't work either this is on a 13 f-150.I have lights on the truck and turn but nothing is working from the connection back on the trailer anyone got a answer.....

Check your glove box or console for a bag with 2 fuses in it . There's also a pigtail for the back up camera when you take the tailgate off
