I just find that procedure in the manual, tx for the tip. I'll try it and I'll post the results here.

Question about Ford's TPMS sensors - are they indirect or direct? Thinking about a 2014 Lariat and then also - partners car - 2013 Fusion. Just did some reading tonight and found there are the two different kinds, indirect and direct. Also - putting new rubber on the Fusion tomorrow at Discount Tire, but both they and Costco insist on installing the new $6 TPMS "kit". As I researched the "kit" tonight it looks like it is just a valve stem, which I know they used to always do anyway, but it doesn't look like this kit includes a battery for the TPMS, which seems they would replace at the same time, unless Fords system doesn't use batteries, which I've learned some don't.
