I woudl like to make a comprehensive guide on tire fitment and wheel size, so people can just come find it here and not have to make 1000's of posts about it, so I need everyones help, just post up what you know and I will add it to the original post.

I was thinking go by year, and include the biggest tire or smallest rim, at stock, and lifted heights.

here is a start

04+
-4WD 33s on stock rims and 35s with a leveling kit, also on stock rims.
-2WD 31s on stock rims and 33s with a leveling kit.
-6" of lift will fit 35s on aftermarket wheels.
-8" of lift will clear 37s on aftermarket wheels.

For the 04+ if those numbers in the grids below the tire size are the lift height needed for that certain tire they are wrong.

i thought i saw on trucks once they said you can put 33's on a newer stock f150 with no lift or mods just the right rim and tire setup.....am i right or wrong?

Your right and that's the point I was going to make. You can add 33s on a stock 4X4 and 35s with a 2" spacer.

That is pretty basic without going in to wheel sizes and so on.

Go right ahead.

Will you also include that with certain wheels you can fit larger tires than stated, such as with a six inch lift you can fit 37s as long as you have perfect specs on the wheels and the tires are narrow.
