tire size
Alright so i'm tryin to talk my dad into a 3"in bbody lift, wheel spacers, and some big tires, the only thing he doesn't like is the big tires he already put on some 285's before he gave it to me and he doesn't think it can handle bigger tires so my ? is what's the biggest tire size u think i could put on w/o re gearin on my 02 4.6L 4x4?

What axle ratio do you currently have?
The vehicle will move with whatever size tires you put on it. However, the performance will suffer with taller tires unless other compensation is done - regearing the axles, engine performance tuners, etc.
When you mention 285s, need to know the rest of the numbers - clearance and performance depend a lot on the overall height of the tire.
