Default Tint %

So this saturday im getting my window tint done, and i was thinking about going 20% all the way around. If anyone has any pictures of their truck with 20% all the way around i would love to see it! And if anyone has any suggestions on a different % please let me know! Thanks.

I do what's legal in my home state of MD to avoid problems being stopped and getting a ticket.

I'd did the legal limit in front and 15% rest of the way and have never regretted something more in my life. My truck hardly stays cooler in this Texas heat and I can't see at night.

Here's mine 20% front two and 5% on back over OEM 15% so you can't really see in the back windows at all.

As a retired LE officer make sure they quote you in % light transmittance not% tint. The meters measure transmittance and in most states front door and windshields can only be 20% reduction or 80% transmittance. The rears can usually be 80% reduction or 20% transmittance. Make them show you the meter and have them check calibration in front of you.

Just an FYI as I issued lots of warnings for guys who had dealers tell them they good to go, when even normal factory rears have mild tint and tinting over left them at way under 20% transmittance.

Good looking, should finish it off with 50 on the entire windshield. Less of a fishbowl effect.I have 50 percent here. Not bad at night at all.
