Throw your aluminum truck rear shocks on the pile:

I believe it to be a wisest choice myself having been a Bilstein guy for many vehicles now. The new 16's come with weak gas shocks and the new are days better but other shock builders are good to, just my thought. I suspect eventually Ford will deal with it in some fashion but I for one didn't wait as it is a no brainer unless one cannot stand the firmer ride and increase in road noise. I had a vehicle with them 20 years ago that bing-boinged ( sound) over bumps at 20/30 mph speeds.

My 09 XL F-150 does the same thing. Too many small bumps in succession at highway speed will cause the driver to white knuckle the steering wheel because the truck begins to fishtail while driving over a series of small glued to the tarmac convex warning discs. An accident could easily be the result due to ford installing garbage dampers on their very, very expensive trucks. I think a class action lawsuit could easily fix this problem.

I swear to god, I'll pistol whip the next guy who says "on the pile."

I threw my dirty under wear on the laundry pile a few minutes ago.
