2011 F150 Xlt EcoBoost Hums While Backing Up
Anyone else experience this problem????
At various times, cold start or not, I hear a hum while backing up while the brakes are slightly applied. The hum stops if you release the brakes and starts again when the brakes are reapplied. We have taken the truck in to our local Ford Service department only to have them state "...unable to verify concern at this time" after having the truck for days.
Now I know this sounds like simple rotor hum, but this has been happening off and on since we purchased the truck brand new. So, is it really the rotors humming or something else?
Suggestion or thoughts?

I responded to your post on the other thread, but wanted to make sure I touched base with you here, too. PM me your information and I'll escalate this to your regional customer service manger. Be sure to list your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership in your message.
