Is it your brake lights that are on or the running lights? Pull the brake pedal all the way back up and then release it. Does it move back forward at all?

I m pretty sure it's the running lights and the brake doesn't move up at all sometimes they turn off and sometimes they just stay on

Are these like the GM pressure switches? If they are you can get some computer duster to blow out any dirt/debri in the switch. Although I'm sure they are cheap enough, you'd probably spend more on the duster than the part. Lol.

Nope, the switch is sealed for the most part.

Ok. I've never had to change one on a Ford. They always seemed to go bad on my old GMC and my cousin's Chevy. They were pretty simple to replace though.

Are the Ford ones mounted to the cab side or firewall side?

EDIT** I'm tired. Lots of stress tonight and not thinking clearly. Lol. Disregard previous comments. I googled the location and part. So ready to go home and take a nap. Haha.
