Default sync and bluetooth acting up on 2010 SCREW

i am using my iphone/ipod threw the usb and its weird, only some times it works, meaning that in the headunit display you can still see artist and song and the counter but no sound, then sometimes when i try to re conncect it will work, today I think i figured out that the ipod threw usb works with the bluetooth function on my iphone turned off, strange!!

any one have this problem or am I just doing it wrong?

thanks
Kelly

I am using my iPhone 4 via the bluetooth connection with no problems. I have not tried it through the USB connection though....

through usb it should always work, i had a problem with the crap ipods locking up all the time though and I got sick of having to reboot it all the time so I switched to flash drives instead of an ipod, works 1000 times better with no problems ever.

I think you mean inferior apple crap? Sync is Microsoft and seems to work flawlessly unless you add a crapple product, hehe!

heh - I've already had to 'reboot' sync in my 3mo old F150. Had to pull the fuse for a few mins. I giggled to myself the whole time

Uhhhh, that was my attempt at sarcasm for the Apple muncher's. I guess I'm not very good at it yet, but I'll do my best to improve.

Now let's not hi-jack this thread cuz it is frustrating when all this hi-tech crap doesn't operate as it should.

Hey guys I'm new to the site, but figured this problem out from searching some other posts. I have the same problem with my 2010 crew and iPhone 4. What you have to do if no sound is coming out is clock on iPod app (icon) and when you open it up the bottom of screen should say dock connector and not sync. Click on the little icon next to the word sync to change it to dock connector. Should work then.
