Default Sway bar problems on 06 f150

Today I put new Rancho quick Lift struts and new upper control arms on my 06 f150 king ranch 4x4. Installation was ok and the truck was sitting level. Durring the installation when I was removing the sway links I saw that my driver side sway link was busted. I went down to advance auto and picked up 2 Moog sway links so I could replace both at the same time (These were a little bit smaller than factory). I tightened down the new link on the passenger side first on everything went ok but on the driver side the link wouldn't go down far enough to go through the lower control arm so I jacked up the other side to push it through. Both links are on now but the link on my driver side pulled the car down and now my driver side sits about 1in lower than the passenger. Is my sway bar bent? Both links are the the same size/brand, why is this happening.?
