Default Susp lift under Body lift MA laws

How many people from MA or not from MA, think I'll get hassled if I had 8" of lift with 37s? This'd be a 3" body + a 5" susp... The law around here is a 4x4s height can't be altered more than 4" but I have 2 buddies that have 8" susp lifts runnin 38s on their F-250s... Basically the law has some #s to work with, Wheel base x Wheel track / a "saftey #" of 2200... So approximatly 138.5 x 66 / 2200 = 4.15 (meas. I took a while back, don't remember if they're exact)... So by law I can lift my truck 4" any more I can get turned away at inspection or ticketed, So I went cheap and did a BL and torsion crank... Well now that I've lifted my truck I'm noticing all these other trucks with 6 and 8" lifts! and they have insp stickers!! I want to drain my wallet too!! Wheels, tires, lift, gears etc.... . ... . .

just get smaller tires to where that 8in.s is back at 4in.s or below. he can run smaller tires than stock if he has to. even if he had to buy another set of very small tires then it would still be cheaper than taking his lift off at every inspection.
