Default SuperCrew vs SuperCab vs Extended Cab....

Pardon this really dumb question. But with all the terminology about extended cabs, king cabs, super cabs, crew cabs....I just have to ask:

Can someone please point out the difference between the Ford SuperCab and the Ford SuperCrew?

I think the difference is that the SuperCab is a 2Dr and the SuperCrew is the 4 Dr. Correct?

So therefore the SuperCrew is the largest F150 in terms of interior dimensions?

If my assumptions are wrong, can you point me to a gallery photo of one of each and point out which is which?

Thanks!

your right., but the supercab has 4 doors also, except that the 2 doors for the back seat are suicide fashion, but they are still "doors". the supercrew is the 4 full size doors.

Thanks. I have a SuperCrew and ordered after market factory floor mats from WeatherTech. They have always provided me with great mats. However, these mats do not fit in the back. The box says SuperCrew/SuperCab, but they do not fit. Especially with the factory sub.

I thought I was going crazy and had ordered the wrong mats.

I guess I need to call them.

Thanks anyway.

The way I look at it is the Super crew has full size back seats. The Super Cab has penality box seats in the back. Also the rear doors are smaller. If you get claustiphobic, don't ride in the back of a super cab. It's small back there.

I have a super cab, only because I rarely carry anyone back there. It's mostly for storage of stuff I don't want to leave in the bed. Big whup, I've had my truck broken into and stuff stolen when the more valuable stuff was laying loose in the bed. Go figure.

huh? The supercab rear seats are actually quite roomy when compared to other trucks, hell, I have just as much room back there as some of the crew cab trucks I have seen and ridden in...

Buck, I was about to respond to your post by saying,

"Well why don't you come take a ride in my backseat?"...

But thought better of it. I guess the simple fact that I still posted it up anyways proves that I was probably dropped on my head more than once as an infant...

I have been in my back seats, they aren't bad at all. I can fit full size adults back there no problem. Now my Ranger, that was a different story for an extra cab!

Oh yeah, Holy Cow, in my 2000 ranger Ext. Cab, lol, I remeber trying to take my lil teenage sis and a couple of her friends places and it was hillarious as those two little girls (well, w/the hormones in the milk/water nowadays, I must mean "little" in age, and not in size... ) were just smashed back there and every little bump or hump they either hit there heads on the rear glass (and I mean HARD!, or almost just about fell into eachother's laps!

Thank God for F-150 room!!!
