My brother had an 02 SCAB and couldn't fit child seats in back, so he bought a 08 SCREW. I have a 12 SCREW. Have two child seats in it. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY we could get by with a SCAB with all the crap that we have to pack that goes along with having 1 and 3 year olds!!!!!!

If i had kids I would go supercrew. If I had just one kid maybe a Scab and if I truly needed more space I'd buy a topper for the bed. At heart i like Scabs more because of the 6.5' bed and supercrews without a topper look weird to me. Those screws have huge interiors though!

Alright guys. Are you ready for the next question?

What size engine are you going with? Are u going V8 or ecoboost? Im sure there's lots of members on here who own each engine and would gladly give u pros and cons of each.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone

Same dilemma I faced when I bought my 11 supercab, decent amount of space for the kids and everything to ride back there, but there isin't much room to open the rear doors in a crowed parking lot. Also anyone in the rear can't let themselves out without the front door being opened.

Anyway realized for me and the family a year later we would be much better off with a supercrew, traded in and so much happier. A lot more space and true 4 doors...roughly your loosing or gaining around 12" between the two.

So i was able to sell my truck for $4200 cash. I then picked up a 2010 XLT 4x4 SCREW and love it. So much room. Thanks for all the advice.

Super crew if kids are involved, no question about it. Back seat of the SCREW is great for kids (they can't reach my seat to kick it!).

Good looking truck!

I have three kids, and I love the SCrew. My father in-law has the SCab, he hauls around a couple 40# dogs.

I ordered my 2015 today (more than just a little excited). My 2010 SCrew, has the 5.5' bed. When it is empty, it is plenty big enough. It seems as though, anything I put something in it, I wish I had more room. I ordered the new truck with the 6.5' bed.
