My 2003 was a scab. I'm pretty sure Machiavelli designed the rear seats(?) and Quasimodo had to ride long distances back there when he was a kid.
My 2012 is a SCREW and I love it.

I love my Screw. There is so much more room for storage and groceries, plus it's nice for passengers. I went for 10 years with an Scab Ranger, and it was fine, but I won't go back to an Scab.

The downfall....I used to get out of driving to events because I only had room for one passenger.

I have a 77 single cab and a 99 scab both have pros and cons but I do love the look of pre 90's Ford reg cabs

SCREW all the way. No Marquis de Sade for my rear end passengers, dog and human alike.

These results surprise me. Around where I live, it seems the vast majority of pickups are Screws, very few Scabs, and the only "regular cab" pickups I see anymore are older, pre-90's vintage trucks.

That's exactly the reason I bought my SuperCab. Plus, a SCREW with a 6.5 bed wouldn't fit in my garage!

This thread/poll was started during the 2008 model year, that's why. These days screws are the majority which is reflected in 09+ truck sales. However, during 04-08 model years, scabs were a very popular choice. If you go back to older trucks then regular cabs were the big seller. It's just the evolution of the truck market/sales.

I wish Ford had taken the Screw to the next level and made the front seats fully reclining with a raising footrest. Instant camper van, or at the very least, *******' wagon.
