Well the thing with plasti dip is you cant leave the tape on there or you take a risk of pulling up the dip. So you would wash and clean rims, Dry them off, tape, spray, remove tape let dip dry, re-apply tape spray again, do until desired amount is applied.

X3 I personally dont like plasti dip either. The fact that is so easy to peel off makes it seem like any scratch or rub would just take it off. Not very good for anything that might get that kind of damage such as wheels or bumpers. The fact too that anyone walking by could simple peel it off for you in they didnt like it or you kinda makes it seem cheap to me.

You can paint them yourself for cheap too. I did that while my old grand cherokee. They where good looking wheels but looked even better in matte black. Just got to prep the wheels VERY well (sandpaper, wire brush etc.) Just like painting bumpers, a tool box or anything else metal. Prep well and use a good etching primer made specifically for metal. Take your time and it will come out great, cut corners and it is bound to fail

I left the tape on mine for 4-5 hours and sprayed them 4 times without removing and re-applying the tape. I just got a sharp utility knife and cut where the tape seam was.

The rims on your truck look great right more.

Wouldn't change them.

Would also peel the Plastidip off of your grill.

Would look alot better.

The grill i believe was actually spray painted. I did not do it, came like that. Actually i had a billet grill on there when i bought it and i put this back on. had too much chrome for me.

If anything, i will put that back on and black that out. i know some are very against Plasti Dip. personally, i have never used it but the idea i like. Plus all the videos i have seen with the addition of Glossifier, it looks pretty good. Like i said before, i am not one to go crazy with spray paint.

what i REALLY want to do is black out the headlights. i guess the method is to bake them and paint the chrome once you break the seal or whatever.. sounds like a process for sure.
