Stock Subwoofer in the Sony sound system

There was a thread awhile back about a gent that stuffed his speaker with something to give a little deeper bass, he said he got it at Wal-Mart, but I cannot remember what it was? He said it really improved the sound!

Ok So here's the update. I got to really thinking about that darn sub after these posts and didnt want to steer anyone wrong. I went back out to the truck looked at the plug, pulled it, and voalla no disturbance in the door speakers. pried open my sub and there is 2 sets of speaker wires going to that one speaker. My guess is the amp is somewhere else in the cab.

Just as an FYI, on the 2011 the amp is NOT included on the sub box at all with this system! Sub only, the amp is somewhere else. And yes the cheap poly fill does make a difference!

From what I understand the amp is under the console on the 2011 F-150. Just for the record, the sound system does work fine without the subwoofer, I know this because mine actually came through without it....my system sounds fine....just no bass. I am in the process of working with the dealer to have it installed.
