Steering Question, '96 F150
I have a '96 F150, 4.9L Inline 6, auto trans, P/S P/B.... 186,400 miles...
During the past week or so I noticed the steering would get really tight when turning, I checked the P/S fluid and belt- both fine. Also noticed that when I was applying the brakes when turning, the wheel got really tight at that time as well....
What could be causing this? It should be noted that I am going to be soon due for a complete brake job front and rear....new shoes/drums and rotors/pads. Could this be affecting the power steering somehow??
