Default Stearing Noise

Have some knocking in the steering wheel, not often but on occasion one knock at a time and usually only one. Any idea what it is? I'm going to check my stearing fluid, but it is a 2010 still under warranty so I'm wanting to get it fixed if it needs it and would like to have some idea what it is.

Default

A knock could be a few things steering issues wheel bearing even a loose mount somewhere. But if you still have factory warranty them them find the problem. Good luck and let us know what they find. O and welcome to the forum

Default may have solved the problem

This sounds crazy and makes me look stupid but I think the problem may be my key chain hiting the stearing column. Further testing will tell the tail.

Default Knocking

Still going on would never do it when I took it in, 50,000 miles now, not happy about this or the leak I had in my rear brake light that has stained the roof liner. So far I like my Ford but these two issues aren't pleasing for a $40,000 vehicle.
