You wheels are what, 22"? The ones on that truck are probably 24". Hell, I have 20" wheels on my truck and they're almost too big for my taste.

And we're "probably Obama backers" because no one cares what you think of the wheels another person buys for their truck? Because his wheels don't fit your "probably redneck backwoods hick" definition of what a truck should be, we're "probably Obama backers"? Sound logic buddy. I bet you'll get far in life.

This is actually an interesting perspective... You tell people who dont share your point of view to not comment.... but you start a thread about how you dont share the original pictured truck owner's point of view.

Then you increase the level of ignorance with the tossed out "probably Obama backers" statement... Good discussion/argument techniques. Surprised you didnt toss out a "Your Momma!!!" in there somewhere.

But its all good.

I am old and out of touch with what is stylish in regards to big wheels. I have never had anything larger than a 15"....yeah, my vehicles are old too....With all that said, I couldn't see a huge difference in the OP's wheels and the ones he detests. I don't care for either, though.

so you are saying you got out of your truck, walked up to that truck in question and either used a tape measure to check the wheel diameter, or read the tire size info to see that they are for 30" wheels?

Those wheels are not 30". 26" at most, more likely 24". Hell, on that body style truck, looking at the front end for perspective, they very well could be 22", but I'd be willing to bet 24".

I don't know what size wheels/tires come on that truck to start with, but if you were to assume that those were 24" wheels, and looking at the pic it appears you have no more than about 2.5" of sidewall/tire ... that means you're at about 29" overall diameter for the wheel+tire ... which would appear too small if you ask me, for what I see in that picture.

That truck is lifted to some degree (you can tell by how much room there is between top of tire and bottom of fender well cut-out) ... so I'd accept that they were maybe 26", which would put you at about 31-32" overall diameter ...

but the OP might be right ... they might be 30" wheels...

Honestly, I don't care how big they are ... I just don't care for that look of huge wheels and rubber-band no-profile tires on any truck. That said, it doesn't bother me to the point that I need to make a post on an internet forum to make fun of it either.

It really is odd that someone with huge chrome wheels calls out and says "some people" about another guy with huge chrome wheels... I thought this was a troll thread for sure

Here is a set of 30" wheels on that body style. Again, 26" max, most likely 24". Just look at the difference in the size of the wheels vs the size of the wheel wells.

It's not my style either, and I'm sure it rides like hammered dog sh*t, but I didn't start a thread about how terrible huge chrome wheels look, while driving a truck with huge chrome wheels.
