I used mine for the free one year subscription. It is radio and travel aid.
Once you get used ti it you won't want to drop it haha...
When my subscription expired I elected the monthly plan which is $23.01 a month...
Wouldn't leave home home without it...

Very shady company and will never get another red cent from me. Too many commercials anyway's.
It was not always this way but as soon as the merger of the two devils went through i knew where it was going.

My truck came with a free subscription, and it just expired. So i did try listening but couldn't find a good music channel of my liking. What I did find, was the sound quality was very poor. My local FM stations sound way better. Never had sat radio before and thought maybe I was doing something wrong, so I called Sirius a few times to quiz them. I was always treated like crap, never got any help, very poor customer service. Poor service and poor sound quality = no renewal for me.
To this point all they have done is email me an offer of $4.99/month for 3 months or $99/year for the std base package. Honestly, I wouldn't care if it was free, cause I wouldn't listen anyways.
Lucky for you guys that have a good setup, but for me it's a poor service

I'd rather be sailing.
I had Sirius free when I bought the PU and renewed for 1 year with a prepaid credit card. After a year they sent me a bill for hundreds of dollars for a renew which I did not agree to. I asked to immediately cancel the account and I would pay the brief period between renew and that day. They told me they could not cancel my account until I paid the entire bill. I asked if I paid the entire bill then they should leave my radio on for the period I paid for and then immediately cancel my account. Nope, I've already told them I want to cancel. So I pay the bill and they'd cancel! OMG! Logic was ludicrous!
I tapped the phone a few times with a pen and asked her to repeat what she just said. I continued to tap periodically. She asked what was the noise? I told her I was recording the call for quality assurance the same way they told me when I started the call.
A few minutes later my account was cleared and cancelled. Interesting just moments before they were adamant that they could not clear my account until it was paid! Go figure.
Sirius is a snake oil company. If they treated folks respectfully and did not try to steal money indirectly from your wallet, I'd sign up again but the BS they pull on the phone is not worth my time or effort. I refuse to honor their business practices with my money.
HUGE USB drive and ALL my music, comedy, podcasts, etc can be played! We just drove to and back Seattle to Southern LA. My bride and I played games with music taking turns picking the next song! Who need Sirius and their crap.
Oh, that did not answer your question . . . . .

PS:
Sirius? Are you listening?
I'm not! LOL!

I thought the price was tolerable the first year, but after that- no dice. I do not now, nor will I EVER pay for radio. Period. That's why I own an ipod loaded with free music.

Just checked my package, select family friendly, two receivers, last years bill was 123.62. Like to listen to radio classics ch. 82 so sound quality is not a biggy to me.
