Default Sirius deal? Anyone subscribe lately?

Have 3 big road trips coming up in the next 6 months. Looking to do a 6 month subscription. Haven't gotten anything in the mail from them lately. Who has got the best deal lately? I'd like some numbers so I can counter when they quote me an absurd price.

Thanks.

Got to call next week to re-up mine. I paid $32.xx for a 5 month subscription.

First, its important that when folks post what they paid, they also tell you which package.

2 months ago, renewed 2 cars with the middle radio package and no live traffic and weather stuff for 12 months. $ 190 for both including all fees and taxes.

I don't know what package it was, but FEB 2014 I didn't renew mine because they wanted $320 for one year for one radio. Didn't need it that bad.

Yeah, just looking to do the radio, no weather or nav., just the basic stations.

OK have you determined that by going to their website and seeing what channels you will get?

It appears that if you just hang in there and work them, you can get a deal. They would not re-up my previous package which was everything for 200.00 for both cars.

Dont forget you need to call them to cancel prior to expiration, otherwise they auto renew you regardless of whether they have a means to get your money or not.

and DO NOT give them a CC number. Tell them to send you an invoice. Once they have your CC, they will automatically bill you the highest rate, and good luck getting it cancelled.

Nor a check, I would think they would try to auto deduct from there also. I had them send me a bill, and then sent a Postal Money Order.

Regardless of how you pay, it is CRUCIAL you call them 30 days before expiration to cancel!

Just renewed mine over the weekend. At first they said it was gonna be $18/mo before fees and taxes for all access including sports, weather, traffic etc. I laughed and told them thanks for the laugh and that id be sticking to Spotify since I get it on my phone and desktop at work. By the end of the call me offered that same package for $147 AFTER fees for the year. It also includes online access and streaming from my phone. So I did that and had them mail me a bill. He also noted it will go back to normal pricing after that... so you better bet I made 3 reminders in my phone: week before, day before and day of!
