Silly little details that bug you?
This is not meant to be a bashing thread. I just thought it may be cool to put all the "little things" in one thread that seem out of place, annoying, etc. Hopefully, the example I put up will give you a good idea of what I mean ...
1. Keyless Entry Pad: You ever notice that all the lights inside our trucks are either blue, white or red (at least on the newer models). I'm in a 2014 FX4, and my dash instruments/lights are all white/red. However, the keyless entry pad on my driver's side door lights up green when I use it. THIS DRIVES ME NUTS! Why can't it just illuminate in white, or red?
That's the kind of "silly little details" I'm talking about. So, what (if any) little trivial details about our trucks bother you?

That bugged me at first, until I realized that my console DOES have a lock. However, that's no reason to eliminate the lock on the glove box.
But that brings up another point. Back in the good old days, there was this thing called a "valet key" that ONLY worked in the ignition switch, so that keeping the glove box and/or console locked was meaningful. These days, you don't even get a valet key with your vehicle ... so having locked compartments inside your vehicle is not really a big deal. About all it does is keep kids from playing in the glove box or console ... but at the point you have someone valet your truck, you're giving them the same key to start the truck as they need to get into the locked compartments.

Ha Ha....here we go:
Front door detents- whomever designed these needs to explain their design
No engine compartment light on the STX
Towing package without ITBC
Why did the engineers change the lower control arm mounts for the struts?
No privacy glass on the STX
No automatic headlights on the STX

door detent design is definitely one that bugs me ... As cautious as I am (which is VERY cautious) ... I have one ding in my door because of the factory ones
