(Note - I posted this also on the 2009-Present forum, but thought I'd also share this here.
I want to share something with my brothers here.
I sent a pm to Lenn yesterday humbly asking for a forum decal to display proudly on my truck.
I made it clear I wanted to pay for any of his time and expense and asked for any payment submission information, such as PayPal, etc.
I received the most courteous reply this morning from Lenn, in which he most passionately refused to accept any monies whatsoever.
While I'm of the sort (and of the age) where I believe a product given by someone warrants compensation, I elected to not pursue my own values/beliefs so as to not insult Lenn's huge generosity.
I detest the thought (always have) of putting stickers/decals on a new vehicle. But as I told Lenn, this is the exception to my rule.
This is the one - and only - decal that I'll place on my Lariat. And it's one that I'll proudly display.
Lenn - thanks so much for your reply and your dedication to this forum.
