Default Need help with cam phasers

Well finally pulled the trigger to do my timing chain and phasers. Everything was going good but once I reinstalled the rockers and turned the crank over by hand the passanger cam phaser is popping. Almost if the spring loads and releases. I figured it was a bad phaser so I replaced it. But that one it's doing the same. Is this normal without oil pressure? Any help is appreciated. I'll post a video once I figure out how to.

Any one have any ideas? It pops coming off the intake valves cyl 1-4 I put a dial indicater on the phasers and only saw .006 run out so don't think the cam got damaged. I'm wondering if the new lash adjusters are causing this.
