It is overpriced. (Close to 100k)
You could build something similar for a lot cheaper.
But the plus side would be you would have a 'collectors item' serial numbered truck from Shelby American.
So whatever floats your boat.

We have a "Roushcharged" 5.0 at our dealer. Pretty slick looking, raptor-styled viny on the rear, leveled with cool rims and the tri-amber grill. 70k.

I never got the whole "hot rod truck" thing. To me a truck is just that, a truck. It should haul things, and have 4WD, tow things and get dirty.
If I wanted a hot rod, I'd buy a new Mustang, Camaro, or Challenger not a truck.

Meh, seems like half of today's trucks are borderline luxury vehicles. Especially the ones stock on 22's with baby tires that will never see an ounce of work, but..to each their own.
I don't mind all the goodies though haha

The irony is, the whole 'sport truck' genre came about because all some folks can afford is their daily driver truck. Aftermarket companies started catering to that crowd and it grew. Now you have this garbage from Shelby selling for more than a new Z06.
Paying close to 6 figures for a supercharged vehicle that DOESN'T have forged internals is stupid by any measure. It would be nice if one of the big named aftermarket companies would offer performance packages and not just a blower with stickers and embroidered seats - I guess the bolt on shocks kind of count but I know for a fact you can get WAY more real performance if you pick the parts yourself (even if you pay labor).

Christ for $100k I could buy a fantastic 4WD truck and have plenty left over to build or buy a badass car. I'd have the best of both worlds.
All I know is this. I'm a Musclecar guy and I hang out with a group of car guys. We've all built our own rides and we have years and years of hot rodding experience between us. When I see these guys roll into cruise nights with their brand new rides, still smelling like the dealership, and they're wiping them down with that homo feather duster thingy, I just laugh.
