Default Seats 2014 and 2015 F150 comparison

Hello.. needs one help.. I've a new 2014 XLT.. front 40/20/40 seats are terrible in my opinion- uncomfortable for bigger guys.. Ive talked to some of you about mods etc.. but heres my question
1. Does anyone have or know where i can get the technical specifications for model year 2011-2014 inclusive and new 2015. Again I want to see the actual seat specs- the seat skeleton and foam etc.. not generic brochure info
2. Does anyone know if the seat design has changed for 2015? If so how?
3. Has anyone had good success in modifying their 2011 or newer F150 seat to address leg and *** pain.. Im not interested in cardboard and mickey mouse fix rather substantive improvements.

Really need to find one of you thats an expert on these seats.. I drove a chef and a dodge and those seats are while less sporty ( less raised sides in the but part) they were way comfortable than this nasty thing i got.. I believe i can ge the dealer to take the truck back but i only want to do this if the 2015 is the way to go and we don't have these yet up here in Vancouver BC

Im 6'4: 280 .. i can't be the only one with this problem...

Please please.. someone help.. thanks

I'm 6' 3, 290 with a 2014 XLT in fact this is my second had a 2012 XLT, they are the most comfortable vehicles IB ever driven, and I have been on some long road trips.

Not sure if there was a change in the seats between 12 and 14, but I think my 2012 seats are the most comforatable thing I have sat in. I wish my office chair was more like it, mostly the heating and cooling, but everything about it is comforatable, even on long road trips. Took one last year from Omaha, NE to Orange Beach, AL which is about 17 hours. Drove it over two days with no issues. 6'6" 320lbs

thanks for the comments guys.. i guess I'm an anomaly.. you bigger guys who say they are comfortable.. please tell me .. are you sitting in buckets or my style 40-20-40..
Ive got back pain now in my sciatic on my right side.. I'm very disappointed. An upholstery place said they could 95 percent make these better. i don't know.. I called Ford Canada today to ask for tech spec for the seats and they were useless. quoted me extacly what is in the glossy brochure.. I'll try fordparts.com

anyway.. hope some more of you can make some suggestions.. oh- does anyone know if the F250 has bigger seats than the F150

Also when they talk about 1st row hip room of 60.5 - I'm assuming this is the distance from door to door on the inside of the truck? yes?

The seats are the same. The difference is center console vs. jump seat.

I'm not a big guy but had the same problem. I went to a NUCCA doctor and he adjusted my neck. Now all those problems are gone!

While I don't drive the same truck as you, I have similar leg problems as you. Sitting in a 2015 Lariat I thought the seat bottom was not supportive enough and would cause me pain. I am waiting to sit in a King Ranch but a Lariat is definitely not on the radar.

Ford doesn't make different seats.

They're all buckets with a different center piece.
You're not sitting on the center piece, so it shouldn't matter what's in the center.

I have the 40/20/40 seating and my truck is the most comfortable for my whole family. Wife and 4 kids all fall asleep regularly. And I can drive all day with no discomfort or pain.

I love the 40/20/40 seats in my 2014 STX. If you want to see an uncomfortable seat (bucket) try sitting in my wife's 2013 4-runner, it's like sitting on a part bench.
