Default Saw my old truck today

My son's little league team had their "Opening Day" today (the festivities got rained out about 3 weeks ago) and I saw my old 02 Scab in the parking lot. The dealer that I traded it into is about 15 miles from our house, so I didn't expect to ever see it again. It felt a little strange seeing the truck and knowing that someone else was driving it. Kinda glad I didn't see them leave.

Anyone else run into their old trucks after a trade in or private sale?

I saw the '89 S10 I got rid of 7 years ago last weekend. I was amazed to see it around because it was a rusty POS with several different colored body panels and 157k when I got rid of it.

well we sold our minivan last summer to a guy 2 miles down the street, it had a cracked block (i think) and was just fixed with some sort of pour in temp. job, and a while ago my dad sold his 91 s10 for $200, it was rotted out, the engine was on it last leg and the guy who bought it drove it home with no brakes, it was for sale in front of the local u pull about a week later, and after i sold my explorer i see it everyday, but then again my brother bought it for $500 so... and it still runs like a top with 210K on it

It happened to me with my old Nissan pickup a couple years ago. I thought it was done when I sold it, but there she was, still rolling.

I know what you mean about not wanting to see the new owner. It's kind of like with an old girlfriend. Sure, you're done with her, but it still hurts knowing some other guy is inside her.

The truck that is.

The first truck I ever sold the kid took it out and wrecked it within two weeks. Then he put it on side of the highway in front of his parents house. Tore me up every time I drove by seeing my old baby sitting there wrecked.

I sold my 06 Roush Champions Edition F150 to a guy that lives about 2 miles away. I usually see it on the road a few times a week. Ain't she purty?
