Looks really nice! Definitely looks better with a little bit of gloss to it rather than the matte plastidip.

Finally had a chance to clean up the wheels and get a coat of Turtle Wax Ice spray wax on them. Really worked well. So yes, you can clean the Rustoleum Peel Coat the same as Plastidip using spray wax. Pics speak for themselves :

Yes, I agree with everyone else. This looks great ! I am not a fan of the plasti-dip look. To me, it looks cheap. But this is very very nice looking.


My daughter has a 97 ranger and the wheels have had it. Now I know what I'm doing to do with them.

How is this holding up?

I like the look of that color vs the black on the plasti-dip.

Did you say you put a few coats of pasti-dip on first then sprayed some of the Rustoleum peel coat after?

Still on there and still looking perfect 6 months later with winter weather mixed in there. 4 coats of plasti-dip black and a couple coats of the peelcoat anthracite.

I personally wouldnt use peelcoat or dip on a running board. I would however ptm them.....lol
