Roof Leak
Has anyone ever encountered a roof leak in the back seat of their truck or even heard of this. I am trying to find out if this is a known problem with the 2010 F150's. After heavy rains yesterday the back seat on the driver side was completely soaked. As I tried to figure out how I assumed it was the seal on the rear window but looking closer I noticiced the headliner between the door and rear window was full of water and dripping. I am waiting for my service department to open so I can call but was curious if anyone out there has encountered this.

Thanks, I took it to dealer yesterday and being a Saturday of course they couldnt fix it. They steam cleaned the interior where it was wet and set me up with their LEAK specialist on Monday. While at the dealer we were able to see the water just laying in the third brake light housing as well as some mold forming in the light already. I am going to give them a shot to make it right and if it leaks again I might go nuts on them. I still plan to notify Ford so that maybe they will come up with a recall if enough people complain.

I had a similar leak pouring down in the corner of the back seat all over my daughter. I'll be going in to see where the leak is. It looked like it came from a "grommet" that is on the roof in the corners, I'll have to go look at the third break light.

In my experience they are called 'Urologist'.
Lots of peeps are experiencing your same problem. Seems to be the third brake light in most cases.
I just went out and checked mine, JIC. Some peeps have the water enter at the 3rd brake light, travel across the head-liner and drip off of the passenger grab handle.

Just made an appointment for my 2010 crewcab King Ranch. While cleaning the rear seat noticed that the top of the seat on both sides majorly water stained and ruined. Suspect light seal or slider. The only water appears to be not on headrest but around headrest. Looks like not only a light gasket but 2 new leather rear seat covers.

i had the very same problem on my 04 f-150. It ended up being the 3rd brake light gasket. It had slipped causing water to get in. I just pulled it off and re-glued it and allowed it to dry. It doesn't leak now.
