if you have the overhead rail system there is a whole underneath the sunglass holder that can be used for whatever you like also i found a plug which i assume could be used for the dvd system.

Don't know if its been posted yet, and dont want to go through whole thread right now, but if you have the sync system, if you take out the mat on the center top of the dash, and unscrew the little black tray, you can attach and additional USB cable to the sync module (yeah, its on top of the dash, even though the connections are down low) and then hook up an external hdd or anything else by using the 'USB2' command.

Hey Guys & Gals, I ordered a new RV for 2007 and that was the first year for Ford to have the new starting system key.

My '04 Heritage has a factory accessory delay wher you can take the key out and if you don't open the driver door, everything still works (power windows, stereo, etc..) just like the key was in.
My '97 didn't have this and either does my buddies' '04 FX4 (new body style).

An interesting side-bar-his new body '04 was built in Nov 03 and my old body '04 was built in Jul 04-so mine is technically newer than his..

The sad thing is the '03 trucks had colour matched door handles and mirrors where the '04 Heritages like mine were black. You'd think they would have wanted to use up the last of the "goochie" stuff...
