my buddy is a Ford sales rep. About a year and a half ago he showed me that my 2008 has something called (((one touch start))). Holy moly you could have knocked me over with a feather
. I didnt know there was such a thing. He said even alot of sales reps didn't know. I did not see it in literature either. I believe he said it was a late addition in 08.
Come on now confess.. how many of you didnt know you have 1 touch start? And is there any other SECRETS OF THE F150 UNLOCKED you can share.. useful tips/trivia or otherwise.

on 99 and up if hold the odm button then keep holding while start you can go into test mode and have digital tac kmp mph and even how many miles you have left in your tank don't remember were i saw this but it cool the gas comes in handy i found out my fuel light comes on at 30 miles till i run out of gas

hahahahaha thats nothing, my gfs dads 2000 F150, you can put it in park and take the key out, it stays running then you can put the key back in and turn it off. No aftermarket alarm or anything

i am pretty sure Ford started this in 07 cause my trucks has it but my buddy's 06 Mustang does not

I got one that no one has mentioned. Its a cooler, if you have a 2000-2004 and have the seperate seats with the middle consol you can pop the cup holders out and lay down a bag and some ice and put some beer in there...i mean soda. 
Also makes a great hiding place to put the tabacco when my girl jumps in.
Also kind of a neater thing before you start the truck press and hold the little thing on the tach and speed-o area hold it and start the truck, keep holding till you see "test" then keep clicking through it. There is a bunch of codes but some cool things like KM/H and digital RPM, Gas tank , temps and random stuff.
