Believe the two engines are different, never was given the priveledge of access to the cleveland, although as I recall my mother-in-law's 1971 Grand Torino Sport had that engine. Been some real good info here about the two comparisions. Perhaps the right guy will chime in.

u have a better chance with the 302. so no. go get a cleveland they r sick. with 400 heads and rv cams. or buy a new haynes
