My Ford Factory remote start is saying that it's in Valet Mode.

How do I get it off of Valet Mode? I've looked in the Hand Book and it doesn't say how to get it off. Just says " if it beeps 6 times, your in service/valet mode"

Help please!! It's cold here!!

I am assuming that you have the 6 button Key FOB the same as mine. I was having the same problem and resolved it earlier today after a whole lot of googling. Start your truck and with the key still in the ignition, press the "2" button once. You should hear your horn honk once/lights flash. Shut your truck off and try your autostart, it should work fine now.

Be careful not to hit the "2" twice or it will go right back into valet mode (beep/chirp 6 times). Best I can figure out, is that the "2" button on the key FOB will toggle the auto start in and out of valet mode with the engine running and key in. It sure would be nice if the manual came with your truck when you bought it (I wasn't smart enough to ask for one from the dealer)

Hope that fixes the problem, I am well aware of how cold it gets in NL.

You saved my back. I had scoured the web looking at about 5 different processes, and they all involved me laying under the dash. This works on 2008 Expedition EL Limited fyi.
