Default Remote Start Install

I just bought a 2006 F150 King Ranch..it has keyless entry. How hard is it to install a keyless entry/remote start kit? I have a keyless entry/remote start kit (2W7Z-19G364-BA). Since it already has keyless entry doesn't it make it easier? Common since tells me I would unplug the wiring harness from the keyless entry module and plug it in to the (2W7Z-19G364-BA) and then just hook up the ignition harness to the wiring in the truck. Is this acurate? If so, where is the keyless entry module? Thanks for the help! Or should I just pay the dealer $285 and have them install it?

the OEM kit should come with installation instructions. the keyless box should be behind the rear seat.

You might want to go to an alarm/stereo shop if you don't install it yourself. They usually charge a lot less then dealerships. My sister had one put on her 09 civic for $145 and I had one put on my 85 f-150 for about $99. Works like a charm.
